In the heart of the Middle Atlas, discover the National Park and the peaks of the Tazzeka! Drive up to 1450m in altitude to reach the Bab Taza mountain pass: beyond the forests, the snow-capped peaks of the mountain range peek through majestically. Climb up to the top of the Tazzeka Mountain for an unbelievable 360 degree view over the whole park.
When driving a 4WD vehicle on the uplands of the High Atlas, discover the peaks of the Oukaïmeden! To get there, follow the road to Setti Fatma towards the Ourika Valley. From here, you’ll also be able to get to the Jebel Toubkal National Park. All along you’ll have splendid views over the mountain douars!

Further south, around Tafraout (Anti-Atlas) follow the Tassrit road and explore the gorges of Ait Mansour. You’ll drive through 25km of the most beautiful views over the Jebel Lkest, before reaching a stunning palm grove at the feet of the cliffs…
On an excursion from Ouarzazate, discover the Jebel Siroua at the junction in the roads to Zagora, Marrakech and the Dades. The highest peak of the Anti-Atlas at 3304 metres, this ancient volcano offers panoramas of surprising contrasts: in a rocky setting of ochre and silver tones, your view plunges down to the bottom of the surrounding verdant valleys.
From Marrakech, drive towards Amizmiz. On this road, you’ll cross through the most beautiful landscapes of the Haouz plain (on the S501 and the S507). It then leads you into the N’Fis Oued Valley to the village and lake of Lalla Takerkoust (33km). The contrasting colours are stunning: amidst eucalyptus groves, the red land and silver water reverberate beautifully. Twenty kilometres from here, on the S507, you’ll reach Amizmiz, at the feet of Jebel Erdouz. From here, go on many beautiful hikes…
Between Ouarzazate and Marrakech, take the road of a thousand kasbahs. Once you’ve crossed the very impressive Tizi N’Tichka mountain pass, a culture rich circuit will take you all the way to the gates of the Great South. You can head towards the Draa Valley, or the Chebbi erg. Either way, driving a 4WD vehicle will give you totally freedom in your discovery of the Moroccan Desert! At the edge of the Draa Gorges, from M’Hamid, go adventuring in the dunes of the Chigaga erg. From here, set off for Merzouga crossing an ocean of sand of about 250 km! You must spend a night in a bivouac in the desert, if only to witness the incredible show of the sunset, an experience you won’t soon forget!
